# Good afternoon everyonee!! so.. bad news guys my pumpkin plant is…

Good afternoon everyonee!! so.. bad news guys my pumpkin plant is dying.. i’ve planted four pumpkin plants in the past three months, and all of them have died sadly.😢 but I had replanted one of them to see what I needed to do!.. but this one is also dying.. I just repotted my plant 2 days ago and its starting to die out.. The leaves are still very strong, but the small leaf attached to it is dying, which i know will lead to the whole plant its self.. im going to keep high hopess😁😁 but i need help on what to do!!

They need light and warmth to encourage growth. I would keep it in a smaller pot just big enough to hold the roots. The plant needs to dry out all the water in that pot in a short time to avoid root rot. It’s too small to use up the moisture.

Plus, it’s planted too deeply to allow air circulation to evaporate the excess water. The soil needs to be only 1/4 inch below the rim to get good airflow for a pot that size. Reducing the pot size is the best option.

Twelve hours of a grow light is minimum for seedlings or 8 hours of sunlight once the seedling has acclimated to getting full sun. I would keep it with filtered sunlight or a grow light at this stage.

ohhh okayy!! so i would put it back into its original pot thats smaller!! i appreciate it so muchhhh, I had no idea 😢 But thank you i will transport it now !! 😁😁

The pot should be just slightly bitter than the rootball.
