# Accidentally had been in my fridge for probably 2 months idk lol.…

Accidentally had been in my fridge for probably 2 months idk lol. Sooooo do I just plop it in dirt???? (It’s garlic) . I want to throw it out but I feel like I have a good starting point to grow it👀. What do yall think???

Worth a try! Yes plop into dirt \& Depending on your location it will need a layer of straw for insulation. It’s usually planted outdoors in the fall and grows in the spring here in Iowa.

I've planted two garlic cloves into a large pot with soil without mulch, but winters here are mild (max -5° at night, above 0 during the day). They should be potted before the frost and can be harvested late July. If your winters are colder they may not survive in a pot (will freeze), better plant them in soil and mulch.
