I want to plan sunflower and roses.

Is this the time can I grow them?  
Should plant in pots or ground?  
Should plant seeds or plants?

That depends on where you live. I had both in pots this year because it wasn’t sure how they would do. Next year, I feel confident enough to plant them both in the ground I would go with seeds for sunflower and a plant for roses.
