I bought her a week or two ago and repotted her in a smaller… _Geplaatst door Megi op 2024-07-29_ HELP! I bought her a week or two ago and repotted her in a smaller pot. (not the one in the picture. Did a smaller terracotta.) Picture of roots was day of repotting from nursery pot and then I watered her with “purived house plant food” And cleaned her leafs with “big leaf energy” and she started falling apart a couple days later. I just don’t wanna burn the leafs but I mean they are falling off anyway. #### Alyse antwoordde op 2024-07-29 I think they like bright indirect light/partial sun #### Megi antwoordde op 2024-07-29 I’m just in a basement so the grow lights are my only option right now. Just not sure how to place them for this one. #### K antwoordde op 2024-07-29 The big concern for burning is the temp; you wanna choose whatever gets her closest to the light without physical contact, and put your hand in the closest spot for a few seconds to make sure it doesn’t feel excessively warm. There’s definitely hope that they can grow back, I’d just be patient 🙏 #### Megi antwoordde op 2024-07-29 Ahh I’m glad yours is doing better! How long did it take for it to stop dropping leafs? #### Alyse antwoordde op 2024-07-29 Over the span of a few days it dropped most of its leaves besides the ones closest to the top, yours looks like it had more leaves than mine so hopefully it stops soon!! #### Megi antwoordde op 2024-07-29 It’s so sad watching them all turn brown and just peel right off. 😭 #### K antwoordde op 2024-07-29 Just keep things as stable as possible and avoid commission bias; people end up killing these plants by trying to do too many things to “save” them. She’ll grow new leaves if she gets good light, and once she’s more stable you can try notching or hormones to encourage new growth lower down #### Alyse antwoordde op 2024-07-29 I know 😭😭 I went outside one day and they were all on the floor I was shocked. She’s doing her best lol Just needs some time and I’m sure she’ll put out new growth soon.
