# Can anyone help me with this plant? It doesn’t look the healthiest…

Can anyone help me with this plant? It doesn’t look the healthiest and I’m clueless. I watered it when I got it a few days ago but the bottom leaves are discoloured and they seem to be curling up (updated photos with new leaves growing in)

overwatered possibly? check if the soil is too wet (it should be slightly damp but not soggy), mine died unfortunately due to overwatering! pruning could help encourage her to grow new, healthier growth, especially if you remove the dead and discoloured leaves. these plants also love a lot of bright indirect light and humid conditions, if that’s any help😇

Not too sure as I got it 2 days ago so what the shop did I’m unaware of but it does have some tiny leaves growing, I’ve just snipped off the dead ones ty x

that’s always a struggle! i’d say it’ll probably be fine as long as you just care for it normally, and hopefully it will bounce back after a week or so😊

These are so hard for me to grow. I killed mine bcz i think it didn't get enough light and i watered it to much. So just make sure it's got some really high light and yes prune some of those little leaves coming in. Just pinch them off, it will become fuller. Be careful not to overwater. Like Mariam said lightly damp not soggy wet.

Pruned them this morning and there’s new leaves coming in from the other day when I took a few off, I’m hoping if I water it every 3-4 days it’ll be okay
