Hi! I just wanted to say, thank you so much for this community. It’s so lovely to share information, success stories and boast about our babies.

Question for y’all- who quarantines their plants before adding them to the family? If so, how?

I quarantine my new babies when I bring them home. I usually just sit them in the middle of my counter for a week or 2.

I do. It’s a complicated jenga situation everytime I quarantine because I have to take a grow light from my other plants

i pop mine in my living room which gets great light and is pretty far from my other plants. not too long, a couple weeks max. i’ve seen that it’s technically supposed to be 40 days, but i do not have that kind of patience!

Indeed. I quarantine them in my bathroom with a grow light and treat them for pests for about a month before adding them to the plant fam. Although, lately I’ve kept my latest additions in there since it’s kind of become a little cove hehe

I can’t wait to have enough light in my bathroom to have a little grotto! I have my fern in there but I kept forgetting to water it bc it was tucked away 🫢🫣
