So I live in brevard county in Florida and I know it’s a far reach but does anyone know of places in the area to search for specialty plants. I plan to go on a search tomorrow for the two I have been desperately wanting. Aka any type of Hoya and a tortum philodendron. I’ve searched high and low at my local Home Depot and Lowe’s cause I keep seeing videos of people finding them at these places. The owner is a really nice person, and every plant I’ve bought from her has been super healthy. She’s based in Florida so they wouldn’t have to ship very far! I have really bad anxiety too, it’s definitely not fun. Keep being brave and putting yourself out there. I live in Broward country. There is actually an exotics show this weekend in Miami. I believe it’s called IAS. They will have everything! At every price point… There are other growers around here that have great selections, however I have been finding most of my local growers are 100% online w no storefront.
