Hi friends!  
So I live in brevard county in Florida and I know it’s a far reach but does anyone know of places in the area to search for specialty plants.  
I plan to go on a search tomorrow for the two I have been desperately wanting.  
Aka any type of Hoya and a tortum philodendron.  
I’ve searched high and low at my local Home Depot and Lowe’s cause I keep seeing videos of people finding them at these places.  
(Before any rude comments… I am asking for request because I have really bad anxiety so going to new places sometimes isn’t a reality)

I hope you can find them! I understand the anxiety. Plant Proper and BWH are some online plant stores I’ve ordered from with out a problem!

PlantObsessedShop on Etsy has a bunch of different hoya plants that aren’t very expensive! The owner is a really nice person, and every plant I’ve bought from her has been super healthy. She’s based in Florida so they wouldn’t have to ship very far! I have really bad anxiety too, it’s definitely not fun. Keep being brave and putting yourself out there. You’re doing great! ❤️❤️

I live in Broward country. There is actually an exotics show this weekend in Miami. I believe it’s called IAS. They will have everything! At every price point…

There are other growers around here that have great selections, however I have been finding most of my local growers are 100% online w no storefront.

If you find cool some places please share!

I definitely will! I think I’ve been seeing about it all over TikTok wasn’t sure how they work or if you needed an invite. So thank you for bringing that up. I might make the trip to check it out! Also will let you know if I find any great spots!!

Im hoping to go tomorrow. I think it’s $25 for a one day ticket. Im nervous to go because I’ll prob spend a months mortgage on more rare plants then I can handle.
