# What plant would you recommend for this room? I’m looking for a…

What plant would you recommend for this room?

I’m looking for a tall-ish plant (like hip to chest height) that doesn’t mind shade, for on the right of the room.

It is a north facing window that receives partial bright light but this is obviously lessened further into the room you get. It will be about 2 meters from the window. (Photos taken early afternoon)

Its really hard to suggest plants from just a picture.. If you set up the site in the app, with the lighting, based on the meter, heat. Air, etc. And click the 🔎 at the bottom of the home screen, choose the site. It will recommend plants that will fit into that Sites care offerings as well as what info you put under yourself when you started.

Be careful what you wish for…LOL! This is my favorite plant, a corn plant! I think it would look great in that space in his room…

I would invest in a grow light so you are not limited by the lack of light. But a snake plant would do well or pothos but the low light will be hard for any variegation to show and the plants will grow slowly.

I’ve had this variegated snake plant in very low light and it’s kept its color and appears to be doing fine. But a grow light will open up your options!
