Hi!

I received this money tree back in December for my bday from my in laws.

I am wondering if these “branches” (idk what they’d be called) are dead completely or if there will ever be new growth for them?

I’d really like to keep this plant alive and grow it enough to plant it some day.

All help appreciated 💖

So that’s just where the play was probably propagated or “topped” last. It looks like it cáliced over well and if you give it plenty of light/water/nutrients you should see new shoots start to pop out of the “stumps”! Nothing to worry about

those ends specifically will not grow, no. but it seems you already have new stems sprouting from them, so you're perfectly fine.
