# Hello I’m new to this group. I would like to know what is the best…

Hello I’m new to this group. I would like to know what is the best type of pot should the plants be placed in. Is it safe to use the pots with the water reserve on the side. Especially with the peace lily.

clear pots with drainage holes are the best, and slide them into a covered pot

With a peace lily you don’t want the soil to be in standing water.

I think it just depends on the kind of plant. Some want to be more wet and some more dry. I don’t know these pots with a water reserve on the side! Interesting!

Peacelilys love water. I have mine in a "watering pot" it loves it. I live in a very dry climate though. So I'd say it depends on where you live.
