Ya know when your at Walmart and need to break a $100 bill!? Well…yeah got this lil guy! What is he? Any care tips??

these things are sooo dramatic. their leaves are very thin so they get sunburnt very easily, but if it's too dark they give up and die. change the soil it came in ASAP, if they get too wet they enter this half-dying half-growing situation and it feels like it never ends 🤕 they're gorgeous but my valentine is the bane of my existence right now

Thanks for the warnings! What soil is best? I have a cactus/succulent mix and pumice…but I can get what’s proper.

aroid has been the most successful for me. they need good drainage. i've seen other people have success with orchid mix, but mine looves it's aroid mix.

Is aroid mix what I search for? Or what goes into it? My c/s mix is very well draining…I can add some pumice to it as well…? I appreciate any advice.

aroid is usually potting soil, orchid bark, and perlite. pumice can also work, and sand won't kill them either. what you have should be fine
