The cane begonias in particular are very easy to transfer and don’t generally struggle much. My Rex escargot suffered a bit but eventually started to grow. They just need more tending to and ensuring the reservoir is always topped up. I find all my begonias are more thirsty than other plants, even more so than peace lilies! #### Lynda svarade den 2025-06-03 Yaaaaay! You’ve made my day! I do have a Rex begonia, so I’m familiar with that variety. TIA! #### Bb svarade den 2025-06-03 Rex begonias are the ones that grow in clumps and tend to have fuzzy leaves. Cane begonias grow tall and tend to have smooth leaves that grow from long stems. They are very vertical and eventually their branches splay out to the sides as they get heavier and more mature. #### Bb svarade den 2025-06-03 How long are you going on vacation for?
