# For anyone struggling with gnats I can’t recommend these tablets…

For anyone struggling with gnats I can’t recommend these tablets enough! I’ve noticed a massive difference in the first couple of weeks using these, my sticky traps are almost clear of the little buggers! I get mine off Amazon and they are pricey but they do work! One tablet or 2 each time you water, so easy!

How many tablets come in one packet? We talking 10 or 20+ or like 1–5?

20+ definitely, maybe 30. But not sure on the exact amount as for some reason it doesn’t say on the pack.

Okay perfect, imo 20+ is already worth it :) may my year long Fungus Gnat battle come to an end 😪

The active ingredient is the Bacillus Thuringiensis Israelensis, the Bti bacteria. It’s the same ingredient in Mosquito Bits and Mosquito Dunks. It’s very effective in eradicating pests that produce larvae in the soil of houseplants. You measure and put Mosquito Bits in the plant water. Then, water as usual. These tablets will make it slightly more convenient to toss a tablet into the water versus measuring the bits. I’m assuming the cost is more for the tablets because of the convenience. It’s about $0.50/ounce for a 30 ounce bag of Mosquito Bits on Amazon US.

I’ve considered mosquito bits several times but looked like such a faff I never bothered. Bit the bullet and got these… think I’m always going to need to have a pack just in case x

I've used mosquito bits but they're annoying because you can't put them in your plant or they will mold so you have to let them sit in water and then you have to remove the bits and I don't have that kind of time lol
