# I received this beautiful tropical garden as a gift at my nana’s…

I received this beautiful tropical garden as a gift at my nana’s funeral. I would love to keep it alive but there is not a plant care setting for multiple plants. Any suggestion? Should I separate soon?

Sorry to read about the loss of your nana! I would definitely separate each plan soon. Typically they’re not in the best soil so I would separate each plant in their own pot and put them in the soil combination they need to thrive.

Ok I probably should start with all 4-5 inch pots?

Yeah, I’m sure that would work. I can’t really tell from the photo but the pot they’re all in doesn’t seem to be all that large so I assume 4 inch pots would work for them. You’ll hopefully have a better idea when you see each plants roots.

If you decide to keep together, under plant look up, search “arrangements”.
