Does anyone have a suggestion for my dracaena? I brought it in for the winter, and the edges of all the leaves are turning brown and dry. I’m following the schedule according to the app, but it doesn’t look well. 🥹

The browning and dry leaf edges are a common issue, likely caused by environmental changes after moving it indoors for winter and maybe overwatering...
Here are some suggestions I found to help your plant recover:
• The most common cause for brown tips is related to water. Dracaenas are sensitive to the fluoride and chlorine found in most tap water, which can burn their leaf tips. Just switch to using filtered, distilled, or rainwater. (I used the water conditioner that's for fish tanks 😁)
• Definitely don't rely solely on an app's schedule. Watering schedules vary with the conditions in your home, temperature, humidity, and lighting. Only water when the top 2 inches of the soil is dry... use the app to remind you to check it with a wooden skewer, if it comes out wet just snooze the reminder.
• Is she getting enought bright, indirect light. Yes dracaenas can tolerate lower light, it can lead to overwatering problems.
• Indoor heating during winter can drastically lower humidity. Dracaenas are relatively tolerant to low humidity, very low levels can contribute to dry leaf tips.
• To pretty up your plant in the mean time, you can use clean scissors to trim off the dry, brown edges.... I cut them at the angle it normally grows to help it blend it. I always say, life is to short for ulgy plants! LOL

Thank you! I never thought about the chlorine, etc., in the water. This plant is in our church in town, and I live out in the county with a Waterwell. I never worry about the water here at home. I’m sure that must be the issue!
