A good time to pot them is when the Arial roots "the small brown nubs" grow about an inch and a half, just give it lots of light and change the water every few days or so so the plants can get good oxygen in the roots through the water

When you do eventually put them into soil, you should keep the soil consistency moist for a couple of week so the water roots can acclimate to the soil. Then you just water normally! Hope this helps!

I wait until the roots are at least 2 inches or more. Some wait for secondary roots to appear to increase the chance of survival in soil.

Be sure to fertilize the cutting since roots emerged already.

Pothos cuttings create high levels of rooting hormones. It’s so popular that pothos cuttings are added to other plant cuttings to speed up root growth. So, frequently changing the water throws out the rooting hormones. I recommend only changing the water on pothos cuttings when it gets cloudy. Some people only change half of the water to keep some the natural rooting hormones.
