# I really wanna get a rose grape flower, and I would love some…

I really wanna get a rose grape flower, and I would love some advice!! I read here on planta that its sensitive to lime in the water, does that mean it’s sensitive to tap water? Also, is it generally tough to care for indoors?

Yes, tap water can have lime in it. You can take a sample in to be tested or there are some tests you can do at home with a kit.

Tap water does have hard minerals that cause limescale unless you have a specific filter that removes it like a home filtration system. You could also get something like a BRITA filter that will remove most of the hard minerals but won’t remove everything. I use the reverse osmosis refill center at my local SPROUTS market to get water for my mineral sensitive plants. (Mine are avocado trees).
