Hit an estate sale today and got these orchids for $1.25. I've always been scared to try these guy's but at that price I couldn't pass. Please help with any advice cause I really have no clue what to do with them. She gave me some orchid food and they are in good chunky orchid bark/soil. Thanks again for any help

Water with ice cubes.

Leave the cubes for lemonade! Orchids are tropical plants and ice isn’t good for the roots. They give that advice to prevent people from overwatering orchids because it’s easy to do (or to sell more orchids if you’re into conspiracies). They prefer a good soak and then to dry out - so do this no more than every 10 - 14 days, the soil to be bone dry so wait longer if you feel any moisture.

Thanks I started soaking them and they are doing great now.
