# Hey guys! Planta is advising that my new habanero pepper plant…

Hey guys! Planta is advising that my new habanero pepper plant shouldn’t be placed on my balcony since i have the “draft” setting on for that location.. i see one of the peppers characteristics IS that they are sensitive but i’m curious as to know what you guys think, would i be okay to leave it outside? i have a northeast facing balcony that would get a whole lot more sun then any windows i have but i am on the top of a mountain and am prone to more winds…

I would try bringing the plant in at night so you don’t have to worry about the temperatures dropping too low. Then once temps stay high enough you can leave it outside! For the wind you can always stake the main stalk so hopefully it doesn’t break.

Not sure if you’re more worried about the plant withstanding the wind or the temps.

honestly both, i’m not very knowledgeable about plants and bought the pepper plant on a whim lol but i want to keep it alive so thank you!
