# How do I change the type of fertilizer I’m using in the Planta AI…

How do I change the type of fertilizer I’m using in the Planta AI app? I’m now only seeing Liquid fertilizer and fertilizer sticks as my options when I had seen other options before. I’m using the slow-release granules.

Pretty sure those function essentially the same or similarly to the sticks, which are slow release?

You may need to do custom because slow release fertilizers vary greatly in how often to replace. I have seen some for two months and my current succulent fertilizer is every six months.
