That pot looks very big for this plant. Money trees do not have at lot of roots and they like to be in a snug pot. In a pot that’s too big or if watered before they’re bone dry, they are very prone to developing root rot.

Really? We repotted it a couple of months ago from the one it came in, but it was the same size. It just had too small a drainage hole. Do you think if I repot it again it’ll be safe?

Maybe I need to put mine in a smaller one. I bought it from a girl that had it in a HUGE pot and I took it down to an 8 inch. I may need to go even smaller. My next step is it’s going in the trash if it don’t perk up 🤣

Looking at pot size and health of the plant, I’m gonna guess it has some root rot. If it has root rot and you don’t do anything, the plant will die. Personally, I would take it out of that pot, look that the roots, remove any rotten roots and spray the rest of the roots with hydrogen peroxide to help kill the bacteria, put it into a pot significantly smaller, and then cross my fingers and hope it bounces back. Then going forward, make sure not to water it until the soil is 100% dry

Mine is much bigger than the one in this picture, and it’s in a five inch pot (only like .5-1” between the trunk and the edge of the pot).

I have two money trees. One is in decent shape…the other one looks like this. I have tried everything and can’t figure out what it wants 🤷🏼‍♀️

Take that red tie off of it immediately! Untwist it too! Mine was completely bald. I did these two things and only watered it when it was completely dry and it’s thriving now
