The pot looks too big. Too much soil holds excess water the plant can’t use. So, the roots sit in water too long and rot. Spider plants like snug roots in a pot just a little wider than the root ball in well draining soil that includes lots of perlite. It probably needs more light too. They like very bright indirect light or a grow light. It looks pale for that variety. Bright indirect light for at least 8 hours in warmer months will give it darker green colors.
