ZZs have rhyzomes that look like potatoes that store water, so overwatering will cause it to rot. they can survive in lower light, but theyll do much better if you err on the side of brighter light. good luck! ### eatyacarbs a commentĂ© le 2024-08-28 these actually want the brightest light you can give them. they’re native to extremely dry climates — dry air, dry soil — and want to be neglected to rely on their rhizomes. i water mine only once a month in the summer, even less in the winter. don’t pot it in anything you love — the rhizomes can actually bust a pot lol #### New Plant Mama T ha respondido el 2024-08-29 Glad I read the comments. They like it sunny and definitely grow better in bright light but will grow in not so sunny spaces as well.
