Okay so i got this guy as a gift and the leaves were browning when i got him.

Should i cut them off?  
Theyre not soft or mushy, seems like leaf burn to me, the brown spots are very crisy but the rest seems to be doing fine..

Any suggestions are appreciated!

it looks like it has a good amount of new leaves and those look healthy, so i would go ahead and trim off the browning leaves. that way the plant can put all its energy into the new growth

For future reference sometimes it’s better to cut sometimes it’s okay to leave them when the leaves dye the plant reabsorbs that energy so it’s good for baby plants like this
