# What do I do to make her look better? 😵‍💫 I’ve never used a moss…

What do I do to make her look better? 😵‍💫  
I’ve never used a moss pole and tried to tie her on one but I have leaves going in every direction and some are backwards. I have a few leaves folded over on itself and one flimsy sun damaged leaf. It looks pitiful

She honestly looks great! But for more stability to grow upwards I’d def do a pole of some sort. I use these little Velcro bands to tie stems to my poles! Including pic for reference :)

I have some of the plant Velcro coming in the mail so hopefully I can get that done this week 😊 do you have any suggestion on how to tie the leafs that are facing backwards? I see all these beautiful monsteras with all the leaves facing forward and my plant just isn’t doing that 😬

That’s great! And hmm so mine is the same way with most of the leaves being forward but some face other ways (maybe it’s the way it was originally potted) - I guess when tying them you can try to tie them facing the direction you like if the stems allows for that LOL also I think they go in the direction of the sun so maybe rearranging how the plant is facing 🤷‍♀️

Are your plants all facing the same way in the pot? The only time I’ve had backwards leaves are when the plants aren’t oriented correctly in the pot

Mine were from when I was a newbie as well! If you investigate the vine, all the leaves should face the same way. Nothing that a small repot can’t fix though

When I was trying to work this out for mine. I was pointed towards a video by Kill This Plant on Youtube, which really helped!

Although it actually helped too well. I ended up separating the plants that were crammed together and they were so happy that, three months later, I now have five rapidly growing monsteras continuously shooting out new leaves in my little flat 😂

Pictured is just one of my pots. Since having the extra space, the leaves are all starting to come in with more fenestrations than in this photo.
