# Any idea what my bamboo needs? She was thriving for a while but now…

Any idea what my bamboo needs? She was thriving for a while but now it looks like she might need some extra help. I’m sure the discoloration on the leaves means something, I’m just very new to plants haha. The leaves are also pretty dusty, what should I use to clean them off? Thanks :))

You can wash off the dust or wipe with a damp cloth and some plant food would be nice. And replace water weekly or when it’s low. Some say tap water may be too harsh I just used filtered water from my brita pitcher. And light as well. My daughter gave me two so I hope this helps cause it’s what I’ve been doing and so far they’re thriving.

Plant food and clean leaves off with neem oil or a damp cloth. I use regular water on both mine but i let the water sit out for 24 hours and they are fine. If that doesn't work cut the yellow leaves off and take it out of what its in and give it some soil . Ive got one in soil and one in water. The one in soil is big!

Good to know! I’ve had this one just in rocks for about a year and I’m scared to move it to soil and accidentally kill it haha
