# I have been growing garlic for 3 months. 1 month in I noticed some…

I have been growing garlic for 3 months. 1 month in I noticed some eggs on it. 2 months into growing them the plants started dying and there was flys so I brought the yellow thing and a tablet that kills the flys. Another month has passed and there’s still larvae crawling around in the soil and there’s only 1 leaf still alive. Is there any way I can save the garlic

Unfortunately I don’t think so. Looks like it has already died.

I don’t think there’s any saving the plant, maybe the one with one leaf left. But in the future, try watering with diluted neem oil, cinnamon on top of the soil helps also. Best advice for getting rid of fungus gnats are to bottom water and keep the top soil dry.
