# Hi! I got this lucky bamboo about a month ago and i really want to…

Hi! I got this lucky bamboo about a month ago and i really want to keep it alive but i wasn’t home for ~2 weeks and now it’s wrinkled, yellowing, and roots are brown.

Some internet research told me i should propagate it, so that’s what i’m trying to do now but i would really appreciate some advice because historically i have not been a very good plant caretaker. Also, what should i do moving forward? I was considering rocks.

It needs to really stay hydrated. I water mine all the time. And mine is in rocks so I really consider it

I agree. Water and rocks is the way to go

I have mine in some decorative stones! I got it back in April from Epcot, and it seems to be doing good! I don’t water too often but I also don’t really know the best way to care for it 😅
