# Purchased croc fern yesterday! I realized my pot came with a saucer…

_Jasneedshelpさんが2025-05-15に投稿しました_

Purchased croc fern yesterday! I realized my pot came with a saucer but no holes drilled in the pot. I know the fern likes humidity (I will move to bathroom once cleaned 🧼 ) but will it not having holes cause roots to rot even if I don’t water heavily? Just debating whether or not to switch pots or drill.

Edit: Should I change soil type?

TIA 🌱

These little guys are really strong honestly. Maybe just mist them here and there make sure the soil is moist enough and not too dry to the touch.
