Maybe it is overwatered. Causes same symptoms. But you can easily check by feeling the soil. #### Nancy님이 2025-01-24에 답변했습니다. I watered it the first time about two days ago and made sure the soil was moist but when I got it from the store the soil was completely dry maybe I did over water, I just repotted it so hoping it’ll be good! ### Phil님이 2025-01-24에 댓글을 남겼어요. Sometimes a plant can get a little shocked moving from place to place so cross your fingers and hope it bounces back from the move from the store to your house. ### LCC님이 2025-01-24에 댓글을 남겼어요. I got a dieffenbachia from Lowe’s a couple months ago and it took me a minute to figure out it’s watering schedule. I was under watering it, but when that was happening, the leaves would turn kinda yellowish over the course of a day or two and then they would go straight brown. I finally figured out mine likes to be watered every four or five days. This may not be the case for your plant but I hope it might help. Good luck! #### Nancy님이 2025-01-25에 답변했습니다. If it was overwatered by one watering then there was something wrong at the place where you bought it. Does the pot have drainage? If not I would repot it. Also, if it was dry did you water it until water drain from the bottom, assuming there is drainage. If the bottom Roots aren't getting water it could cause problems. #### Nancy님이 2025-01-25에 답변했습니다.
