yall, the gasp that left my soul…. (i asked my boyfriend to do some work in my studio while i was at work yeast and when i come home today i realized he accidentally switched off the ceiling fan on his way out ( i have my fan and ac running 24/7 so i believe the no circulation \& how dried out he was getting already since arrival aug 13th did it? he was doing okay the day before but my studio tends to run pretty HOTT (88F+ without ceiling fan and AC) and i’ve been trying to get the TEMP, RH \& humidifier in the sweet spot for my jungle gang but when i pulled him from his shelf for watering this hurt. the calatheas soil was BONE DRY. my moisture meter was barely able to penetrate the soil.. definitely going to be more on my chores and duties. \[\[everyone got a distilled watering\]\]🥲 please don’t roast me too bad 😭😭

It looks like it could still come back! I did this with a bat plant. Put it on a shelf, went out of town and my daughter forgot to water her…. I’m attempting a rehab but it doesn’t look good.

I did this with a maranta (went through depressive episode and didn't water for two weeks). She's doing really well now though! I switched her to a self watering pot and she's recovered within a few months

Oh no! Hopefully she comes back! I think it looks like there’s hope. Btw I just bought one of these and I’m in love! It’s in a self watering pot, maybe you could try that.

Jailll 😭 thats why I don't have any calatheas and my room is like 75 degrees at most but I feel your pain
