Hey everyone! I want to add a plant in my bathroom. Any suggestions on what I should get? No windows - just need something that thrives on moisture.

Philodendron and Birds Nest Ferns should do great!

all plants need light — no light and high humidity will always lead to rot/fungus

My suggestion would be some kind of tropical plant + a grow light if you have room 😊

I keep a pothos and orchid in my bathroom w no windows I just move them every couple days and give them some window light or if it’s nice out I put them in the sun room. They are thriving.

Good to know about the orchid; I'm going to try mine out in the bathroom. With all of that humidity, how often do you water?

I soak her once a week and mist and then like once or twice a week I give her window time from sun up to down. And she’s about to bloom again. I’ve had the orchid for several year too. It was outside for the longest time and I brought it in about July.

Zz plants do okay but they need some light

Every plant needs some light. Without it, it will not grow and will eventually die.  
I suggest a grow light. But I’ve heard ferns do well in humid bathrooms.
