About 2 months ago I got gifted these from a friend who was propagating them. I need help with how to help them grow! I’m thinking the pots too big for them and maybe to put them in something smaller and eventually putting them back in… not sure how to help them grow better please help! Also how do I know if I’m over watering or not enough water?? She told me these are pothos as well.

Pothos likes humidity but doesn’t like being wet all the time (sitting in wet soil). I agree with you, I would put it in a smaller pot or join them into one pot. Let it dry out between watering.

Ok perfect I’ll put them in a smaller pot and see how it does, thank you!😊

Just poke the soil with your finger. My rule is 1-2in in should be dry for small pothos. Don’t go by the watering schedule that the app says. Sometimes it’s a bit off \& you could potentially end up over watering. Pothos are hard to kill lol it’s better to underwater than overwater.

I love those pots! But you’re probably right, they look a bit big for those wee cuttings. Do the cuttings have roots?
I’d definitely at least put them together into one pot, or put each into its own smaller pot.
A great rule of thumb is that the pot should be only 1”-2” bigger than the root ball, and I tend to go on the smaller side in cold weather.
In my experience, the plant is going to devote the majority of its energy to building a good root system in a pot that big before it starts putting out new foliage.
I had a single cutting of pothos that refused to start growing until I put it into a teeny tiny 2” terra cotta pot.
Pothos want to dry out almost completely before you water again.

Thank you so much do you think I can put them in a small pot together or should I separate them and let them grow and then put them together later?
