# i just got these orchids as a gift, will they survive with the light…

i just got these orchids as a gift, will they survive with the light from the window well or should i move them somewhere brighter? they seem to be doing fine so far (its been three days)

Depends…where are you and which direction does the window face?

its a south facing window, and i live in colorado. my room gets about 2 hours of direct sunlight in the middle of the day, and decently bright light until like 4 or so (right now at least)

They will definitely survive with that type of light!
