# Got this lovely monstera from Target 3 days ago for $15. Any tips on…

Got this lovely monstera from Target 3 days ago for $15. Any tips on caring for her or what type of monstera this is? I know you typically shouldn’t repot or do anything crazy when switching environments but I’m considering watering her (not sure when her last watering was)

Easiest way is to check her soil, top 1-2” is dry definitely give her a drink. She looks like she might be a Monstera Deliciosa.

Definitely looks like a Monstera Deliciosa!!  
Put it in the chunkiest mix you can.  
Mine almost died from root rot but I was able to safe her by growing it in water🫡

A lot of people on YouTube have videos on this topic and I would definitely recommend looking at mister Sheffield made plants he has a lot of videos on it and propagating them
