It'll do that if it's only getting sun from 1 direction. If you do decide to turn it, try just doing like a quarter turn once a week or so. Agreed. I started turning a leaning jade that arrived that way in the mail and within a week it straightened it out. To help it straighten out and grow evenly, just try turning it when you water or once a week, pointing it towards the opposite direction it previously was each time until it evens itself out.
