Hi guys,

I am looking at investing in some grow lights (finally) and I am just wondering strength I should get for a gooseneck lamp for my curly spider plant?

I found SANSI brand on Amazon and it varies from 10W up to 40W.

I’m still relatively new to growth lights so any help is appreciated.

TIA! :)

You have to determine how much light is needed for the plants. Check online. It’s measured in a few units including foot-candles and lumens. The bulb maker states the light output at specific distances from the light/bulb. Most are only effective on plants within 14 inches. Most single light bulbs need to be closer to the plant.🍀🪴

If you really want to “invest” I recommend Soltech. The other brand I’ve recently tried and measured the foot candles on is the clip-on Sansi. If I win the lottery everything will be Soltech 😬
