# Hey everyone, just got this prayer plant from someone, not sure when…

Hey everyone, just got this prayer plant from someone, not sure when last watered or what kind of soil used, there is some leaves damaged, should I remove them? Also would it be ok to repot and water?

Remove the dead or sad leaves or the plant will waste energy trying to heal them. As soon as you cut off the bad parts, you should see improvement. Has it been moved at all?

As for watering, check the soil with your finger or a gauge. Repotting would be your chance to check out the root system. Decide on pot size based on root size and plant in proper soil.

Hey guys so assesses the plant and there is some small black mites? Crawling in it. What would be the best course of treatment?

Looks like there just in the soil and not on the leaves.
