They’re called Reverkins in the philo community, due to their tendency to revert back to the Red Congo ancestry I believe it was? The birkins are very genetically unstable

I think it’s kinda neat!

Yes! Mine is like that, too. I was told it has to do with the amount of light. Some of mine went through an albino phase, even! I think it’s just the nature of the birkin-a surprise in every leaf! ❤️

I have two, and they tend to get weird leaves. Doesn’t seem dependent upon light. And the brown spots. All well known birkin issues.
