It is actually called heart leaf Philodendron and philodendron is a genus of plants.

Not philodendron imo. Pothos variety, either golden or jade. Philodendron have sheathes at the nodes that protect new leaves. Pothos leaves look like they’re just peeling off the stem with no sheath.

Not pothos, the leaf shape is not the same and my heart leaf philodendron is just abnormally dark, go look at pictures of heart leaf philodendron and you’ll see it is a philodendron and not pothos. Also the veins are that of heart leaf philodendron, I own both golden pothos and heart leaf philodendron. And the sheath shrivels away and if you look closely you can see the remnants of sheaths and the stem lacks nodes all over it (not just at the leaves) for it to be a pothos and jade pothos is just a variety of golden pothos and not separate species.

Leaf shape changes depending on light and fertilizing. How the leaf emerges is a more promising identifier. Either way, both are great plants and are easy to mix up. OP should def check the nodes. Here’s a good photo with both to help.

The photo just confirms my id and the pic of golden pothos on the right shows they have thick groved stems (which you can find on young golden pothoses) which is not in the picture above and the leaves don’t have any webbing that new leaves emerge from.

Not sure why you feel so combative but I’m going to just leave that information for op to check themselves. Doesn’t really affect me what you think it is 😂

I am just going to leave this photo pointing out the sheath. That was a surprisingly fun argument. Thanks for not getting mad at me.
