# I’d love some help/advice. 🙃 I have this beautiful Monstera…

I’d love some help/advice. 🙃 I have this beautiful Monstera Adansonii that I got from Walmart a few months back and has been growing like crazy in all directions… if I don’t leave that tall piece in the back against the wall, it flops over completely. Any advice on how to maybe give support when it’s literally growing in all directions?

I have several of these beauties! I have a bamboo stake in one of them and another on a moss pole. My biggest one is climbing the wall and it’s secured with green leaf shaped plastic pieces that stick to the wall and hold the plant up. 😊

So I have another one that I did the same thing with!! The problem with the one I posted about is the ones on the sides/front, I can’t pull them back enough to get wrapped around anything. 😭 they’re not as “flexible” as my other one. The stems are much thicker on the one I want to help support.

Ahhh yes. I had that problem too. You can put smaller stakes, like a chopstick, in there next to those stems in the front and wrap them onto the stick with plant Velcro strips. Hope that helps!

I am currently doing this with a mini monstera. I will be looking for plant clips soon, as it is outgrowing the sticks on which it currently grows.

Yes , give it a pole or support in some way and it will grow taller and also put out bigger leaves as well.

Leafy Co. has buildable moss poles that come with rings for each level to hold the “legs” of the plants, it might do well for your baby

I know nothing about moss poles and honestly I’m a little afraid to ever try one 😭😂😭

Honestly I let mine flop and just hung it from the ceiling. They make good hanging plants too! Plus you can decorate them for the holidays

I have my other one like that currently ☺️ the one I posted about though, the stems are so thick that it didn’t seem good for the plant.. 😔

Thank you! Also the stems on mine are really thick too, especially at the top. About the thickness of a sharpie. It hasn’t been an issue, but it probably would do better on a moss pole.
