Hello Planta community!

New gardener here. Last fall I created my first garden. It’s all perennials and ornamental grasses in the ‘Naturalistic Style’. I’m wondering if I should cut all these plants down before spring like I would if they were established. They’ve only been in the ground since early October and are very small. Figured I’d start here for guidance before searching each individual plant. My plants include:
Anise Hyssop, Amsonia Hubrichtii, Amsonia Blue Ice, Aster Eastern Star, Calamagrostis Acutiflora, Deschampsia Cespitosa, Echinacea Purpuria, Rattlesnake Master, Festuca Glauca Elijah Blue, Allium Millenium, Little Blue Stem, Hakenochloa Grass, Little Spire Russian Sage, Rudbeckia American Gold, Sedum Autumn Joy.

Thanks!!!

With the exception of the Elijah Blue I think all of your plants could be cut back per usual. If you planted the beginning of October they'd still had some time to establish some roots. Most of your choices are pretty hearty little plants so you should be fine.
