Not personally but make sure to look up the import/export from the country you’re leaving from and going too. Some countries have restrictions on species. Some countries also don’t allow soil, you may have to move them bare root . You’ll also likely need a phytosanitary certificate.

There are also shipping companies who will do all the paperwork etc. obviously just costs more

Definitely check the laws out for wherever you're going. Many places won't let you transport any type of plant. Although, I did have one guy tell me that he did the following, he cut the top off of a 2 liter pop bottle at the top of the straight part, then he put the plant inside the bottle, maybe with a little damp Moss, put the top back on and taped it in place. He left the bottle cap off to allow a little air in there and then he packed it in his suitcase. I'm not sure, maybe he left the cap on so no moisture would drip out. That would be okay just for a plane flight. No guarantees that's just what some guy told me.

Oh interesting lol, that would be a bit sketch if they do a scan of your luggage, but might work in some places

I have not. But I have done the USDA for import/export. It's generally the other country's that are more strict. So id check them first before even looking at the USDA site honestly. If it's something like Australia, more than likely you'll need to rehome your plants unfortunately

Yeahhhh Australia is so strict, crazy they can’t buy internationally at all. I was thinking Canada, and did what you had suggested and on their government site if you drive in with houseplants that won’t be planted outdoors and they are sub-tropical/tropical (wouldn’t survive outdoors) then you can bring 50 plants in the car with no paperwork lol, so score!

Oohh nice!!! I know there's were a few restrictions from going there to here, but they weren't a lot.

Depends on where you are moving. Some species of plants are considered intrusive, so they don't want them there. I would recommend putting them in bubble wrap.
