Can someone help me with my Jade 🥹 She started having brown crispy tips on the very top leaves, and now she has black spots on her top leaves. She’s in a south facing window, in espoma succulent and cactus soil, and I water her when she is completely dry and then some. I will say she gets a LOT of sun during the day, so I’m wondering if she’s getting too much light? I have a few jades - old ones too - I can send pics if you want proof of my experience 😂 #### Sage svarte den 2024-09-17 Thank you SO much for your help!! I did in fact move her from a south facing window with tree blockage, to a south facing window with NO tree blockage. Do you know why she’s getting the black spots? I’ve read about etiolation, is that it? I suspect a mix of overwatering and moving it to a much more sunny window ☺️ ### Plant Father kommenterte den 2024-09-18 your plant looks really good. i think the spots are most likely edema from watering inconsistencies. i water my jade plants only when the bottom leaves are soft, but before the plant looks truly dehydrated. it may be helpful to pay attention to the state of your leaves when it’s time to water, to see if you need to adjust the frequency. also, be sure to saturate the soil fully at each watering, this will help your plant grow a sturdy root system. #### Sage svarte den 2024-09-18 Thank you so much, this is very helpful!!
