Hello, plant parents! 🪴
I’m looking for something lush and pretty to put on a plant stand in front of an East-facing window in my home office. Any recommendations for something that likes direct morning light and bright indirect afternoon light? Thanks in advance! 🙏🏼

I’d suggest a peace lily

The possibilities are endless here!! Almost anything apart from a succulent or something that gets huge like a monstera delciosa (only because this is an office window) will do well here.

In my east facing I have a lipstick plant, thanksgiving and christmas cacti, pink syngonium, alocasia, ficus benjamina, umbrella plant, rattlesnake calathea, african violet, ficus tineke, pothos n’joy and two phal orchids. All thriving (\*I don’t use that word lightly!) with the exception of of one orchid but that has nothing to do with the east facing, that was my B and it’s on the rebound lol!

Any type of philodendron or pothos would appreciate east facing, ivies, peace lilies, Zz, monstera adansonii if there’s no draft.

East facing is a great spot — prime plant real estate 😁 can’t wait to see what you choose!
