Let it dry out completely before watering

I agree with JR. As well as LOTS of light. I also like to bottom water mine to prevent any root rot. Well draining soil either way though.

Ahh a raven zz - so pretty! Basically - let it do its thing! Kind of ignore it. Get it some light if you can but if not, no worries. Zz was advertised as the plant of steel when I got one many many years ago and I believe it!

Thoughts on pots \& soils?!

I would do ceramic pot but that’s just me, for soil I would use a chunky tropical houseplant mix as they can do good in cactus and succulent mix but I prefer tropical for this type.

I have heard that they are almost impossible to kill!

I would put in a heavy well draining pot. They will get top heavy and flip your plant. Just think this crazy plant only had a couple of stems and it was small. I had no idea it was going to take over my room.

So cool!! So in order to avoid the drooping of the ‘branch’s’ should I stake it?
