I follow Planta’s instructions for watering, misting, \& fertilizing, and my mine has been doing A-OK since Feb.

Soak in distilled water for an hour upside down then put on a paper towel upside down for thirty minutes then put right back in its holder I keep mine under a grow light for 8 hours a day

I also follow Planta’s recommendations for watering, misting, fertilizing \& light for mine; and she’s been doing really well!  
I’ve found that using a small fan to help dry the air plant after soaking is very helpful.  
I also don’t put her back in her holder till she’s 100% dry.

If you don’t have distilled water you can also leave a bowl out for 24hrs so the chlorine evaporates.

Make sure it isn’t glued into the pot, I’ve seen some air plants glued into place in shops

Whenever it rains by you, leave a bowl outside then water it with that water! Hope this helps!
