# So…anything about plants, eh? Anything?!?! Because according to…

So…anything about plants, eh? Anything?!?!  
Because according to Planta, marijuana/cannabis is not a plant, but poppies (opium), cocoa (cocaine), wheat, barley, and potatoes (alcohol), even tobacco are all acceptable.

It’ll prompt one to download a separate app, Hampa.  
That’s kind of bullshit.

I really want to experiment with trying to grow weed. Can you give me any tips or starting points ?

If we went off my experiences: don’t.  
I’m still very new. Germinating is my weakness. I’ve managed to fully grow clones…only to be thwarted by corn worms (in CA).  
I barely got that far with the help of two master growers. They like to tell me: “For being called a weed, it sure doesn’t grow like one.”  
YouTube might help.  
Wish I could be of more help, but this is only my third attempt.

I already pay for a subscription for Planta. Do i also have to pay for Hampa? If it’s a sister app, same everything, why? Why segregate? Why are all my other plant/extraction examples acceptable?

I am having similar problems with Planta, I don’t feel like I am being listened to enough, they advertise the app as if any adherents that would be important to make can be suggested but they have never replied or taken action, I was recently thinking of making some posts raising awareness for the lack of attention given to users of the app, I would appreciate some support or maybe someone who could also make more posts just like this, please dm me if you are interested in helping fix this problem. Thank you

I’ve always wanted to do that too. I tried with a little plant once it didn’t last and it wasn’t a good smoke.

In my experience, seeds are tougher than starting with a clone, even then my success rate is low. Keep trying, they’re kinda like tomatoes: let the soil dry slightly between waterings, give it some liquid fertilizer, and hope for the best against pests.
