How many do you have compared to what planta says, and why don’t you list them all individually, even if they aren’t in the same “site”?? Edit for clarification…. None of my plants are in the ground or outdoor hanging annual baskets. I don’t count yard plants as plants for Planta personally. Those require completely different care lol. ## 15 comments ### jadesmish commented on 2026-07-17 I usually avoid double listings since I get confused easily 😹 So for the three monstera adasoniis… Only one is in my app! Same goes for propagations and cuttings - if I have multiple I just make one profile 🥰 Truthfully I don’t know how many plants I have… and I don’t want to know! 🙈 #### Charli 🌷🌱 replied on 2026-07-17 That’s so smart!! If one gets done, they all do 🤩 ### Charli 🌷🌱 commented on 2026-07-17 I have indoor and outdoor plants and also take care of my mums plants but don’t log her plants or the outdoor ones as they’re usually only limited season annuals It hurts my head trying to count them lol #### Michigan mommy replied on 2026-07-18 Oh I wasn’t including anything actually planted in the ground or annual hanging baskets. ### Nikiller commented on 2026-07-17 I list all of mine, except for maybe a few that are just 2-4 of the same exact plant, I just group them up by care type, all my airplants have a site, all my succulents have a site, all my regular indoor plants have a site, and my outdoors have a site. All my indoor plants are technically in one single site, my living room under my grow lights by the windows, but this makes it easy to task all of one plant at once. My count is probably only 10-20 plants off because I’m ocd about a lot of things ### The leafy Angel commented on 2026-07-17 I pretty much list all my plants except propagation because they aren’t technically a plant yet and I may just be added them to an already existing plant or giving/selling them ### Karzdan commented on 2026-07-17 116 in Planta, probably close to 200 IRL if you include seedlings and cuttings. I see no reason to add more than one entry for propagations. They will have the same requirements and get treated at the same time. Also, as I gift one, no need to update the app. ### Jay Grebinger commented on 2026-07-17 I'm up to 112 in specified areas. I still have about 20 or so more that are outside. As I repot them, they get added. I've still got some work to do😁 ### ABagel commented on 2026-07-17 I have more than what Planta says. I haven’t listed my trio of monsteras individually because I haven’t separated them. I will say that I have one older one and then the trio and I did actually mix them up early on when I was taking progress photos. I have three different cape sundews and those are listed individually because my kids named one of them Bob and the other one Carl. I have about 20 aloe outside that I don’t include. I started adding them all to the app and it got pretty tedious, so I stopped.
